And we all end up as omlettes...

As a little girl i was fond of listening to jokes as they used to titillate my humor bone.Most of them were my dad's P.Js which i never understood and the only reason i used to laugh at them was because i love my dad.
It has been a long time since then but i can still remember a joke that has found an analogy in my life.the joke is as follows:

Once upon a time there were three eggs.The first egg said, "Im gonna grow up to become a movie star" and to that the second one said,"I dont see any future in films.Im gonna become an investment banker".Then the third egg said,"Im want to spend my life in serving the people and so i will become a doctor".
question:What did the three eggs end up as?
Answer:Omlettes.

Back then this was a joke i was supposed to laugh at but then now when i analyze it deeply,i feel its poetry.As an engineering student i see students getting recruited into software companies but the irony is that they include civil,mechanical,biotechnology along with the CSE and ISE students and so i came up with this analogy for the former joke:

Once upon a time there were three CET students with 600,1200 and 5000 rankings.The first student said,"Im gonna take CSE branch since i have a good ranking".The second guy opted for Mechanical and said"Im gonna build an F1 car some day".The third guy said,"Im taking civil dude.There is lot of scope in it,im gonna rebuild WTC".
FOUR YEARS LATER all the three guys were coding at their workstations at HP,WIPRO and INFOSYS...

When i told my dad that i have started to understand life more so that it was his old joke that enlightened me, he laughed and said ,"What will they finally end up as?What will we all end up as?As omlettes on life's frying pan.Some of us may be eaten with Croissant and some of with just salt and pepper".
